The Hampshire Bee Company Honey
Our 340g (12oz) jars of ‘The Hampshire Bee Company Honey’ are the most popular product that we sell. All of our honey is produced by our rescued honeybee colonies that are kept on farmland in and around Old Alresford in Hampshire.
We only take the surplus honey from our bees, leaving them with more than enough to see them through the longest of winters.
Our honey is strained as soon as it is removed the supers so that we can jar the very best product from our colonies. Our rescued bees produce a multi-floral honey as they forage on a variety of wild and farmed trees and plants and the differing nectar sources can greatly influence the colour of the honey
All honey starts out runny, but overtime it will granulate, the granulation time varies depending on the nectar source, therefore honey is best kept in a cupboard at normal room temperature, it should never be stored in the fridge.
